frequently asked questions
What is Massage?
- Massage is the manipulation or rubbing and kneading of the muscles and joints of the body to relieve tension and/or pain.
Am I supposed to take off my underwear?
-
Most people prefer to leave their underwear on during the massage and the therapist wants you to be completely comfortable during the experience! You will be under the sheets at all times. The only area undraped is the area the therapist is currently working on.
What if I drool?
-
It is not uncommon to fall asleep during their massage session. Snoring and drooling may be part of that process and that is OK! If you need a tissue during the massage just ask!
Will the massage therapist be there when I undress?
-
No. The therapist will go over the process prior to the massage. She will then leave the room and ask you to undress to your comfort level and lay under the sheet. Don't worry or rush because the therapist will knock before entering the room.
Should I talk during my massage?
-
This is totally up to you. The therapist wants you to be comfortable. Some people enjoy talking while others prefer to drift off into a relaxing bliss. Feel free to do what feels right to you!
Am I supposed to tip?
-
In this office setting, it is completely up to you. It is NOT required or expected. If you feel like you want to, it will be received with gratitude and appreciation.
